Acropolis now on Beyond Hype

• The latest stockist of Acropolis is online retailer, Beyond Hype.  We recently caught up with the man behind the site to get his views on the current state of streetwear, trends, unique brands he’s wearing and more.

  

  Please introduce yourself and tell us a little about Beyond Hype?

  My name is Stayam Mistry and Beyond Hype was recently launched in early July.  Beyond Hype is an online store that carries quality apparel brands.  We also carry a large variety of snapback hats, both retro and vintage.  We plan on adding more brands in the coming months including those that specialize in watches and footwear.

  What is it about Acropolis that you like?

  Acropolis is not the usual streetwear brand.  The designs are all unique and have a meaning behind them.

  Snapbacks, Strapbacks or Fitteds?

  We carry hundreds of snapbacks but you will also find a few strapbacks and fitteds on Beyond Hype.

  What is the dopest trend in streetwear you’re feeling at the moment?

  I think currently it’s just about diversity.  Finding things that are unique separate each brand.  I also think if brands stay true to themselves and keep making dope stuff then it doesn’t matter what the current trend is.

  

  What is something that you’d like to see make a return in streetwear?

  Only being twenty two makes it tough for me to say because I have been involved in streetwear for a relatively short period of time.  I can say that snapbacks, especially vintage, are currently highly sought after and have made a big comeback in the last couple of years.

  Jordan or Air Force 1′s?

  Gotta say Jordans.

  What brands are you wearing at the moment?

  A few favorites are Heist & Co., IM KING, Acropolis and Adapt.
